Senior night banners: sizes, photos and timing

One athlete or the whole team

Single-athlete banners feature one senior: a large photo, their name, jersey number, position or title (like "Captain"), sport, school and class year, in your team colors. Parents hold them up during the senior walk, hang them on the fence or gym wall, and keep them afterwards.

Team banners put every senior on one wide banner with a headshot, name and number for each. They are often ordered by a team parent or booster club for the senior night ceremony.

Which size to choose

• 2' x 3' (24" x 36"): easy to hold up while walking, and fits a fence panel or wall.
• 3' x 4.5' (36" x 54"): bigger photo and name, easier to see from the stands.
• 4' x 6' (48" x 72"): the largest single-athlete size, for reading from across a field. At 6 feet tall, plan on two people to hold it up.
• Team banners, 2' x 6', 3' x 9' or 4' x 12': the team banner listing suggests about 6, 10 and 14 seniors for these sizes. Ask us if your senior class is bigger.

What to send us

• The athlete's name as it should be printed, jersey number, and position or title.
• Sport, school or team name, team colors and class year.
• One clear, well-lit photo, ideally waist-up or full body in uniform. A sharp phone photo works; send the original file, not a screenshot. For a team banner, one headshot per senior.

Timing it for your senior night

1. Order and send the photo and details.
2. We email you a link to your proof. Check every spelling and number.
3. Approve the proof by 9 PM ET on a business day: it ships the next business day by free overnight shipping.
4. It arrives 1-2 business days after it ships. Most orders arrive 1-3 business days after approval.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays, and we ship to US addresses only (all 50 states; we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes). To be safe, order early enough that you can approve the proof at least 3 business days before senior night. Full details are in the shipping policy.

Displaying it at the game

The banners are 13oz vinyl with hemmed edges and grommets, for indoor or outdoor use. Zip-tie the grommets to a chain-link fence or bleacher rail, or hang them on a gym wall with hooks. More on hanging, wind and storage.
